The Beacon Hill Arts Premiere 2017 is an exciting showcase of work by award-winning filmmakers and musicians with disabilities and autism from across North-East England.

You are warmly invited to join our long-running annual celebration and be amongst the hundreds of people who come along for a night of guaranteed entertainment!

  • At Playhouse Whitley Bay (click here for location)
  • On Thursday 23 November 2017
  • 7 for a 7.30pm start (finishes at approximately 9pm)

NOTE: If you were involved in one of our projects between October 2016 and November 2017, you are entitled to three FREE tickets (including yourself) Please email events@beaconhillarts.org.uk to book your places!

In addition to an extensive programme of new short films, we are proud to present - for the first time - a live performance of 'Ebb & Flow', a visual and musical experience that takes us from the safety of land to the otherworldy eerie depths of the ocean. Our last such production, 'Dust is Us' was described as 'imaginative and beautiful... fascinating and original' by Mark Radcliffe of BBC Radio 6 Music.

With over 100 festival selections across four continents, cinema screenings up and down the UK, and praise from across the creative sectors, our work pushes the boundaries of the imagination through productions that reveal the unique creativity of our talented artists.

We are very grateful to the William Leech Charity, the Barbour Foundation and St Hilda's Trust who are supporting this event.
